TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Municipality of South Bruce will hold a Public Meeting on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. by Zoom Meeting due to COVID-19, regarding proposed changes to the Community Improvement Plan under Section 28 of the Planning Act. Location of the Subject Land
The property subject to the proposed amendment include the urban areas of Mildmay and Teeswater.
The Purpose and Effect of the Amendment
The purpose and effect of the proposed amendment to the Community Improvement Plan (CIP) is to enhance the 2013 CIP by adding new grant programs and adding additional commercial properties to the CIP area.
Oral or Written Submissions
Any person or public body is entitled to attend the public meeting by zoom and make written or oral submissions in support of or in opposition to the proposed amendment to the CIP. Written comments should be submitted to the CAO/Clerk at the address shown below.
TAKE NOTICE Comments and opinions submitted on these matters, including originator’s name and address, become part of the public record, may be viewed by the general public and may be published in a staff report on the Council Agenda.
TAKE NOTICE that if a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Municipality of South Bruce to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Municipality of South Bruce before the CIP amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
TAKE NOTICE that if a person or public body does not make oral submission at a public zoom meeting, or make written submissions to the Municipality of South Bruce before the CIP amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there is reasonable grounds to do so.
