If you are installing a new entrance way to a property (both rural and urban) an entrance permit is required.
It is an offence to park a vehicle on any roadway between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. during the months of November, December, January, February and March.
Half Load Season
Please note that “Half Load” season is in effect from March 1 - April 30th. In accordance with South Bruce Municipal By-law 2016-27 and the Highway Traffic Act, this restriction is put in place on trucks in order to protect our roads during the spring thaw. The maximum allowable weight is 5 tonnes per axle in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act, Section 122.
Please assist us in reducing repairs to our road system by not having heavy deliveries to your property during this time of year. Thank you for your patience during this annual transition into spring!
