For each fiscal year ending December 31st, the Municipality of South Bruce prepares financial statements for the municipality in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles as recommended by the Public Sector Accounting Board and Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Any taxpayer or resident of the municipality can request a copy of the financial statements at no charge. The financial statements for the most current fiscal year are available on the website. For information on prior years, please contact the Treasurer.

Financial Information Returns (FIR)
Each year the Finance Department prepares a Financial Information Return for the municipality that is submitted to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. The FIR is the data collection tool used by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing to collect financial and statistical information on municipalities.
