WATERING RESTRICTIONS
The Council of the Municipality of South Bruce is requesting your co-operation in preserving the quality and quantity of our water supply by following this schedule for ALL USE OF WATER THROUGH A HOSE, OR OTHER ATTACHMNENT FOR USE ON LAWNS, FLOWER BEDS, STREETS OR GARDEN SPRINKLING, OR FOR ANY OTHER OUTSIDE PURPOSE in the Villages of Mildmay and Teeswater.
Properties in Mildmay lying east of the Elora Road and properties in Teeswater lying east of Clinton Street:
Watering is restricted to between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Sunday watering is prohibited.
Properties in Mildmay lying west of the Elora Road and properties in Teeswater lying west of Clinton Street:
Watering is restricted to between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Sunday watering is prohibited.
CONTINUOUS WATERING OF LAWNS AND GARDENS AT ANY OTHER TIME DAY OR NIGHT IS PROHIBITED.
If any indication of a problem with our water supply should arise, further restrictions may be imposed.
Every person who contravenes any provision of this By-law is guilty of an offense and an administration charge of $50.00 per offense will be charged to the offender and if not paid will be added to the taxes of the property owner.
