STEM Fellowship, is a Canadian, youth-led, non-profit organization that creates mentorship and experiential learning programs to equip students with skills in data analytics, research, and scholarly communication. This summer, STEM Fellowship will be involved with the design and delivery of the NII (Nuclear Innovation Institute) LEAD Canada Big Data Leadership Summer Camp.
This program is designed to enhance educational opportunities for local students (entering Grades 11 and 12) in Bruce, Grey, and Huron Counties. Participants will analyze global and micro-climate change impacts of Lake Huron on Bruce County communities, energy production, and agriculture. It will enable students to strengthen skills in leadership and analytical thinking as they solve these local challenges. Finally, students will graduate with STEM Fellowship's nationally-recognized Big Data training and will be recognized as LEAD Associates internationally.
