Kinectrics Purchases Nine Acres of Industrial Property in South Bruce
The Municipality of South Bruce is pleased to announce that Kinectrics, a primary supplier to Bruce Power, has purchased nine acres of industrial property in Teeswater. Kinetrics will construct a 40,000 sq. ft. facility at this location, with plans to increase the facility to over 100,000 sq. ft., should there be sufficient demand.
The Teeswater site is a key acquisition for Kinectrics, as the company establishes and expands its local presence and capabilities to support, strengthen and grow its business with Bruce Power. As part of its local expansion, Kinectrics has also purchased a 37,000 sq. ft. facility at the Bruce Energy Centre near Tiverton. Kinectrics plans to create approximately 50 jobs in the region over the next several years, as part of its expansion.
“South Bruce is thrilled to welcome Kinectrics to our community,” said Bob Buckle, Mayor, Municipality of South Bruce. “We are pleased to provide a key location for the local expansion of Kinectrics and look forward to partnering with Kinectrics, Bruce Power and the County to support this important long term investment in our region.”
Kinectrics is a leading testing, inspection, certification and consulting company with over 25 unique laboratory and testing facilities for the electricity industry.
